This is not a cooking blog, really it isn't, it's just that with the cooler weather it suddenly feels so good to turn the oven on and bake something that makes the whole house smell cozy and warm. Besides, we had another church potluck this week! You can see why it is so hard to stay on a diet around here! Anyway, my sweetheart made another of his fabulous cheesecakes, this time a white chocolate rasperry cheesecake, and it is so pretty I just had to show it off. This one has beautiful swirls of ruby red raspberries in the white chocolate cheesecake. To die for! You can find the recipe here. It is very rich and delightfully creamy. Sigh...I love autumn!
That looks soooooooooooo delicious!
ReplyDeleteLike you, when the weather cools, I really get in the baking mood. Cooking too.
Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm..... wish I could have some of that cheesecake!

Oh my - that looks yummy. I've made cheesecakes before but they have never looked that good!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the comment on hubby's b'day cake. You just have to learn how to stack the layers to keep it from leaning - and if all else fails, I have been known to 'anchor' the layers with a few toothpicks! The fact that my cake plate isn't exactly level doesn't help, but my grandmother gave it to me and I love it. Sadly, I broke the lid last time it had a cake on it. I could get another just like it at Wally World, but it wouldn't be the same. :(
Oh Kathy! the cheesecake looks delicious! Cheesecake is one of my favorites and so are raspberries. your husband is much better at cheesecakes than I am!!
ReplyDeleteHugs,

The cheesecake looks amazing. I'll bet it tastes amazing too. My cheesecakes always crack a bit on top so I must cover them with chocolate or sour cream or fruit preserves.
ReplyDeleteThank Looks so Good! I bet it was deliscious, now I'm really hungry!

Kathy ~ That is so cute about the cabinet doors and your mission to save them for the good of greater beauty. :) The cheesecake looks lovely. Yes, this cooler weather makes baking and cooking that much better. Jumbo orange pumpkin muffins on the menu for Silver Bell cottage today. Have a wonderful day.
