I know, I have been MIA this week. I am just now getting the Christmas decorations packed away. A full week with the funeral of an old dear friend and a visit from my brother for a few days, sending Victoria back to school:>(, just a million things to do. I need to get back in the groove. I need all these chores to magically be done (Where are those Christmas elves when you need them!?) I will see you soon. Thanks for hanging in there with me. I had over 100 entries in my google reader this morning, I'm catching up on visits too! See you soon.
Kathy,
ReplyDeleteJanuary is one of those months that seem to be the white space in between the music. I feel a bit stuck moving on when the snow is still on the ground and icy roads keep us in-doors so much. I am sorry to hear about your friend passing.
Karen
Glad you are back. We all understand about needing to get back to normal.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely image. I always feel like January is kind of a let down after the excitement of Christmas in December, LOL! Sorry to hear about your loss.
ReplyDeleteHi Kathy,
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear about your friend passing away. It's always so hard, but especially so around the Christmas season.
There's so much to do, it's amazing than anything gets done at all. LOL
I started the New Year behind. Oh well, I have all year to catch up!
Patricia :o)
Google reader! That explains a few things I didn't understand. Where have I been?
ReplyDeleteI still have the daggone tree up ...I am too lazy to deal with it.
Sounds like you have been a busy girl. Sorry about your dear friend's passing. Love, Debbi
ReplyDeleteWelcome back and so sorry to hear of the loss of your friend. I love the darling winter picture in your post.
ReplyDeleteCathy
How time flies...when there are so many things to take care of. But, we'll all be right here when you have the time to join us.
ReplyDeleteTake care of yourself...
~Blessings,
Jan
Kathy-So sorry for your loss. At least you can keep busy which might help. Or simply make you want to crawl in bed!
ReplyDeleteI won't take up your time. Have a good rest of the week :-)
xoxo

Good Morning Kathy,
ReplyDeleteI am sorry to hear about the loss of your friend.
I too am packing up Christmas, it has been down but I just kind of threw it in bins down the basement....now I get to organize it! Oh boy! LOL!!
Hugs,
LeAnn:)
That's the way things go sometimes. Take some deep breaths. The chores will get done when they get done.
ReplyDeleteOh, if you find those elves, send them over to my house when they're done at yours :-)
I so sorry to hear of the loss of your friend. If you find those elves send them my way, I have a few things they could do!

I am sorry to hear of the loss of your friend.
ReplyDeleteIt does take awhile to get back in the swing of things. If Santa would rent his elves out after Christmas, he could probably make enough money to buy all the materials he will need for next year's toys:-)
Rhonda
BTW. I have been meaning to write you and tell you good luck with your new flock this Spring. I raise Buffs and Dominiques. They lay an abundance of beautiful large brown eggs. You are right, nothing beats eggs fresh from your own hen house.
I'm so sorry about your friend. I hope you are having a productive few days and that you enjoyed the visit with your brother. Blessings to you, dear Kathleen!
ReplyDeleteHi Kathleen Grace ,
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for your visit and sweet words too!! and also for the advice, I wish I had asked everyone before I started, lol, I like the tray too, but now all I see is the bubbles I couldn't get out, lol....Thank you so much though, I will use the advice for my next one !! ;)
Hugs, Cynthia
I'm looking forward to seeing what's going into your etsy.

My sympathies to you and yours! Sorry to hear of the passing of a friend. I'll be praying for you today.
ReplyDeleteAnd hey, I wanted you to know that YOU saved my blog. I mean, really. After the past few weeks, I'm suffering from major blog-burnout o'rama. Today at lunch I decided to back it up to a hard drive and then delete it. All of it. And then your comment popped up and I thought, "Wow. Someone truly gets it!". So I decided to give it another week.
Thanks for being an encouragement at just the right time! :)
My best,
Brin

So sorry about your friend Kathleen. I had to take a tiny break also. I was just exhausted !
ReplyDeleteSometimes we all need a break and I being new to bloggy world hope that if someone takes a break that her readers stick with it and wait for her to come back, kind of like a faithful kitty that sits on the porch and just waits.

P.S. my decorations have only made it out to the big dining room and not quite to the storage room yet but soon.....
Oh, Kathy Grace, i think we are all in the same boat...I have missed so many great blogging postings this month and part of last. Just so much to do....
