Seriously? *sigh* 2-4 inches predicted, I'm feeling all blue and then I turn on the news and see what my friends down south have gone through with the devastation brought on by tornados.  What a baby I am. I'll take the snow, thank you.  Praying for everyone affected by the destruction in the south.  Praying and hoping all my friends are ok.

  1. poor little daffy covered in snow -- but it will melt even if there is more and those spring flowers are so hardy and sturdy and determined! None of mine are up yet, just shoots.

Your sentiments are mine exactly -- so much destruction in the southern US and Japan has had it's share of troubles -- a little snow and cold is nothing at all in the larger picture of life.

  4. Hey Kathy,

Your little daff looks so sad ;-<

We had horrific wind, rain and lightning, but thankfully no losses and no power outages.
    All is well now.

  9. We are all praying hard here for rain, snow...any moisture at all. We have so many fires burning around West Texas...and now we are heading into tornado season. We saw the smoke and could smell the fire burning about 45 minutes from Lubbock. Scared me so bad, I put the water on our yard....goofy!
I am praying for all the folks caught up in the awful tornadoes...

  10. What a beautiful capture, snow on daffodils...I know there is a poem there somewhere.

My sister lives in Pinehurst North Carolina. She and her husband were in Lowe's and just after they left the store was flattened by the Tornado. It skipped over her town, thank God. But left splinters in the towns that surround hers.

I have never experienced a Tornado. Well snow is discouraging when we want Spring, but it arrives nice and quiet this time of year.
