Today my youngest daughter, Victoria Grace, turns 17. It would be the echo of mothers everywhere to say how quickly the last 17 years have flown. Do we ever really understand how short childhood is? Not until we are looking at it's end can we comprehend it's lightning quick progress. I look at Victoria and I see that soft cheeked, bright eyed baby even as I marvel at what a lovely young woman she is becoming. One more year of high school and then off to college. Happy Birthday my sweet child. I intend to cherish each second of the year ahead!
What an absolute beauty she is! Wow! Cherish the time left with her at home...it is so precious. Then, if you are as lucky as I, you will have an even more blessed relationship when she leaves.

The time does fly by, doesn't it? They seem so young then you turn around and they are ready to go off into the world on their own. Enjoy this time with her.
