Yes, I am still around. Gosh, it's been almost two weeks. Life ya know? Sick for a couple days (I'm better now) and just plain busy. I snapped a photo of my work basket laying in the sunshine on the sofa this morning. I've been working on more pillows and I hope to have them listed on etsy by Saturday morning. Then I'm taking a break and getting some much needed cleaning and other projects finished. I'm still visiting my friends and keeping up with all your beautiful decorating and family news. I'll be back real soon, in the meantime, have a great weekend. If you have been waiting for the heart & home pillows, check Saturday morning, ok? I'll be chatting with you soon:>)
Such a fun basket of goodies. Sure hope you are feeling better real soon
ReplyDeleteBusy, busy, I understand. Enjoy your weekend too. :)
ReplyDeleteLife sometimes takes on a speed of it's own, like a bike going down a big hill!!! Sorry you were sick but I'm glad you are feeling better now. Love your basket!
ReplyDeleteYour picture is very pretty, with the sun shining on your basket. :o)
ReplyDeleteYou have such beautiful creations.
Sincerely ~ Tricia Anne
A very pretty basket picture and I love the redwork on the back of the basket. I'm glad your feeling better now.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,

My goodness, Kathy..I've never seen anyone as busy as you. Just like a little busy bee....
ReplyDeleteGet some rest while you're on a little break..
hugs, bj
Please Kathy. Take some time for yourself. Maybe this is why you got sick...I love your sewing basket. I am trying to carve out time to start working with my new machine but we have had one home repair crisis after another that I won't bore anyone with...
ReplyDeleteAll else is good!! Hope the same for you, my friend! Oh, I am visiting your shop Sat. morning if you are going to have pillows...!

Hi there Kathleen Grace! I hope you are continuing to be on the mend. Sometimes it's good to take a blogging break! Your workbasket looks nice sitting there in the sun! Your pincushion is so cute! I wonder if you ever make them in pink or all have you ever made some out of vintage table linens??? I KNOW a PINK VINTAGE table linen pincushion would be super darling!
ReplyDeleteYou had asked about the hummingbird pendant's size. Just eyeballing it...it's about an inch in length. It's pretty small. Yes, it is a good size for a charm! It can even be made smaller because the size I did it in is size 20 which is one of the larger crochet cotton thread sizes, so if it were done in size 40 or 50 or even 80 it would be super teeny tiny!
I figured you were just really busy...I knew you were OK because you left me a comment. If you had not done that I would have been worried about you!
ReplyDeleteI know those pillows will be gone in a flash...they are beautiful.

Sorry to hear you haven't been feeling well. Blessings!

ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous sewing basket.
ReplyDeleteThat beauty must inspire you to sew.
We all have our gifts, which differ. I love to write, and your sewing gift is evident.
Isn't this a grand diverse world?
