Oh how they grow.....

This is what all the fuss is about. My baby graduates tonight. The years have flown by. It doesn't seem that long ago that she and her sister were playing dress up in my garden.
Or a ballerina princess in dirty tennis shoes :>)
Learning how to use a sander with Daddy. My girls and power tools...it's a combination that makes my hair turn grey just thinking about it.
I think she was aptly named Victoria. I see a theme here as I go through her pictures. Lots of crowns.
And tonight she takes another big step into adulthood. Victoria graduates with honors and next week we head out for freshman orientation at her University. I think it is going to be an all too short summer. Congratulations baby girl. I love you.

  15. Kathy,
I was so excited to see Victoria graduate! I share your joy and know that she is just as lovely inside as she is on the outside. You have done an excellent job of raising her to this point. Many congratulations as she enters the next step in her life. Celebrate the moments in life for they really do pass too quickly. Many hugs of joy! Jan@daylilylane

  16. This is Victoria, and I just want to say it's so sweet what all of you are saying!!! Thank you so much for the congratulations. My mom is so great that she just happened to "forget" to mention that for 5 very energetic and probably troublesome (sorry mom) years, she homeschooled my sister and I. I truly think that those five years are responsible for motivating me to do well in the remainder of my school years, and mom and dad both have definitely inspired me to do well in everything I try, and I really want to thank you mommy for all the hard work you have put into my homeschool, public school, and spiritual education, and especially right now for all the hard work you and daddy have put into my AMAZING open house! I love you both so much!! xoxoxoxo
