What's New?

Well this little guy for one! I had some requests for more of the little Ravens sitting on pumpkins so I made this one. She had a sister, but it's already flown the coop. This is probably the last one I'll make this year so get her while you can because she is the last of her flock. You can find her in my etsy shop.
Also new, these beautiful vintage earrings. They were so pretty, but who wants to wear scew backs? So I reworked them onto sterling silver french wires and they are in my etsy shop now. This is actually the third pair I have remade but my daughters snagged the other two! Naughty girls:>)
The photo really can't capture the sparkle you get with these vintage rhinestones. They just catch the light so beautifully. I am working on all kinds of new things and feel so excited to be doing something a bit different, and some things the same. I will be making more hearts, more birds, and some surprises. See you soon:>)

  8. Beautiful earrings!! What a great idea to swap out the screw backs for hooks, I hate screw backs. They never stay put on your ear. Great Blog:)

Yes, fall isn't quite here but knocking on our doors. Mornings are cool..cool enuf that I've brought a few plants inside. It was in the mid 80's yesterday, tho.

How is the bedroom coming? I am so dieing to see it all. I am trying to talk myself into painting my computer room but can't seem to get motivated. That's the way I work, tho...one morning,I'll get up, grab the paint and not go back to bed for a couple of days until I get the entire re-do finished!! Drives Bill nuts!! lol

This is so well designed and beautifully made. These earrings are lovely, I didn't realize that you redesigned jewelry too. I can't imagine what you will be coming up with for Christmas. Karen

  27. Those earings are beautiful!!!

I am also opening up an etsy store. I have been working on many different projects to put into the store and collecting different vintage items. What I love the most is using vintage items to make new items. I have made a couple pieces of jewelry so far. Charm bracelets are my favorite.

  33. The earrings are fantastic! I've got a load of my mother's vintage earrings and it never occurred to me that it might be possible to "rework them" and wear them as danglers. Is it hard to do? (Want to do it for me, lol?)
