I see Red!

Sara at Sadie Olive is hosting an "I saw red" blog party and I couldn't resist just a quick post. Red is my favorite color. A few quick snaps around the house and garden and I have it. There is much more red than this in my home, and if I have time I'll add to it. Right now I am trying to psych myself into doing the rest of the cleaning before the party (yes still !) It is cool and rainy and I really just feel like putting my feet up. Ah well, plenty of time for that after Sunday. The show must go on. Enjoy the red, and I'll keep you updated on the preparations!

  11. ooooh I love those cherries on the back of that chair, and your hand-made birds are always so lovely. I saw this red party and browsed a bit, but I love your post. Whenever I need to motivate myself to clean for a party, I set the table. Isn't that crazy? But it works for me. Happy party details. Karen

  12. That chair is gorgeous!! I have considered painting my kitchen chairs red...you will be my inspiration!

Love that stained glass too! Did you make it?

Now, that party will be fabulous. The things you think need doing, no one will notice. I swear! They WILL see the beauty of what you have done for it and the warmth of your home and YOU. The happiness of the occasion!
I too worry about so much before a big party (or a little one too!) but no one but you will no anything is less than perfection. Besides, I am betting it all looks practically perfect anyhoo! I KNOW it does!

I have been remiss in thanking some of you on blog so did a post about some of you creative people...I hope you know how much I adore your work...and YOU!

    Love,
    Sue
