Morning Conversation

As Earl and I sat on the sofa this morning drinking coffee...
Me: "You have to take Vicky to work (yay she got a summer job!)about the same time you usually make me breakfast."
Earl: "Uh huh"
Me: "Maybe I could have breakfast a little early this morning"
Followed by uproarious laughter from both of us. lol. I really am terribly spoiled, and there are perks to having him home. Gee, I'm going to miss him when he finds work:>) We are doing ok. God is providing. I have faith that things will pick up. In the meantime, he makes my breakfast before work and we have morning coffee. Might as well enjoy the sunshine together:>) (Breakfast was delicious!)

  3. How sweet! That reminds me of my Stevie. He makes my coffee every morning before he goes to work. He goes in earlier than I do. He brings it to me, singing the song "Good Morning ,Beautiful". Isn't that sweet? I think that I have that song on my playlist on my blog.

I love your wicker couch and cushions. Very pretty.

  5. I loved listening in on this sweet conversation. A little snippet of your life. Earl is a sweet man, isn't he? You guys have a good life.

I am fortunate too, that my sweet hubbie makes me coffee every morning. He sets out my dishes, silverware and napkin, slices my bread for toasting. He is a morning person, I am not...it works wonderfully.

Cracking up over Earl thinking he has to work on being articulate. Good one!

  35. You think like I do ;-) My hubby has been cooking his breakfast since he's been working from home the past few years. He cooks for me when I want the same breakfast, or I fix my own. We are comfortable with the routine we have fallen into. I'm glad to know you are doing OK. I think of you often and hope the economy will improve. You are handling things with beautiful grace.
