I went to the Farmers Market this Saturday. I love it! The Oakland County Farmers Market is one of the biggest and best in the area. So much color and so many beautiful flowers at a great price. I got a huge fuschia for my hummingbird for only $12. I decided my farmers market photos would make a great mosaic to go along with Mary's Mosaic Monday:>) Lots of color and beauty in one place and the post isn't so long. So enjoy! Do you have a farmers market near you? Do you go?
Gorgeous! I have a Mosaic Monday post but it won't post til early Monday morning. Hope you are having a good weekend.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great mosaic. Thanks for sharing your Farmers Market with us.

Your mosaic is very pretty! Our farmer's market is small but we enjoy it too.
ReplyDeleteKathy, I love your Farmer's Market mosaic. The images capture the essence of all of the beautiful and color things offered by each vendor.
ReplyDeleteWe live near our State Farmer's Market, and it is one of our favorite places to go shopping and browsing.
A bright mosaic of colour! A market is one of my favourite places to wander at the weekend!

My town just started a Farmer's Market! Yesterday was only it's second day and they have about 6 people participating right now. But it's very well attended so I'm sure given time it'll grow. Your mosaic is so pretty!

Wow! Your pictures are great! I took a peek around your blog, too. Very nice!
ReplyDeleteGoodness girl, you really have a way with that camera of yours!! What a lovely montage - such yummy goodies at the Farmer's Market. We have one nearby, but it doesn't have this caliber of flowers...just a few hanging baskets. The veggies are nice though. I love how these images all work together. Do you put these montages together yourself with a photo program or is this done in flickr? Just curious...
ReplyDeleteHey, you might want to take a look at my no-sew makeover project for my kitchen window - the colors are right up your alley!
Have a great week!

A beautiful mosaic Kathy! I love farmers markets. We have one here in Hendersonville that is open Thurs - Saturday year round.
ReplyDeleteBut my favorite place in the summer is a farmstand about 2 miles from my house. They have the best summer veggies from their own fields. It is not open yet, but I am looking forward to the day they do!
My internet service is back working!

Penny

No farmers market near me and I dearly want one! There is a flea market that has some produce vendors, but it is crowded and kind of icky. I rarely go anymore. Your flower mosaic is wonderful.
ReplyDeleteLove your 'Mosaic Monday', very colorful! We do have a Farmer's Market here in downtown Salt Lake City! With hubby's garden though, not sure I'll have to go buy anything!
ReplyDeleteHi!
ReplyDeleteI love your market, fellow Michigander!
I notice that you did include one vegetable!~ the radish and they are wonderful looking!
I love your hearts that you make!
I can answer your question you left me today! :) The little tag I s made with my computer and the logo image with blog etc. added THEN use
"Colorfast: Sew-in INKJET FABRIC SHEETS". I bought mine at Michaels, which you also have. I found mine in the section with instruction books, on display... mine are over by the yarn aisles.
You have to sew them in or use fusion material. They also have the iron on style but I like this type better.
I hope that helped.
Hugs,
Mary
Fabulous post, everything looks so great.
