I'm back!

Back from florida and a much needed vacation. It was fun but I returned with very few photos.  This is Cinderellas castle at Disney. It was great fun and we stayed for the evening fireworks. Lovely.  Now I'm jumping back into real life and it's going to be a busy week. Today, shopping for school essentials before Victoria heads back to college Monday. Tomorrow, a work meeting and Thursday I head back to the school kitchen to put things back together for the school year. This weekend we will visit my mother and move Victoria back to school.  The summer has flown (as I am sure you have all noticed!) I also need to get my etsy orders mailed, the house cleaned, meals cooked....you get the idea. Sometimes I wonder if a vacation is worth all the catch up work you need to do when you get home. I'll be stopping in to say hello  and catch up with my blog friends too. Oh happy September. Things do speed up again in the fall don't they?

  3. Welcome back! I'm so happy you had a great time. It does stink the things that need to be done when we return from vacation. I agree that I'm not sure it's worth it, but deep down - we know it is!! Pace yourself. It'll all get done. We are women! Hear us roar!!!

  4. If you didn't take many photos Kathy, that means you were having too much fun with your friend to stop and do that...that's a good thing!!

Glad you had a good time, and yes, September does seem to speed things up..we enjoy the slowness of summer and then September hits and everything seems to start happening at once.

Remember to breathe and place yourself in Florida mentally when you are feeling the most frantic and hurried!!

  15. I can't wait to see what all you do. You always have some of the best ideas. Did you ever get your bedroom finished? I remember you saying it wasn't going where you wanted it to and might start all over. Don't let it stress you..there's plenty of time to finish it later.
I've worked all day on my dining room and am sure tired tonight. The room isn't changing THAT much but just little changes here and there makes for a new-feeling room and I love that.
Don't work too hard on yours...

  17. Hi Kathy,
That was such a smart thing to do, to get away before all the craziness begins again. My youngest daughter starts college this year also. Yikes, it is so expensive. Every time I turn around there is something else that she needs. My oldest daughter works and is taking care of most of her expenses.

Well, glad you are back and happier still that you had such a lovely time.
