I found this cute dress form pin cushion on clearance at JoAnn Fabrics last night. Now I have a good way to display a little bit of my vintage bling. This weekend, I am going to finish painting my bedroom. Four weeks exactly to Victorias graduation open house and a long list of to do's. Better get crackin. How are you spending your weekend?
Let's see.... this weekend ...... it is supposed to rain most of the time clearing up Sunday afternoon......perfect timing to spend time gardening for Mother's Day. Yahoo!

Ooh, ooh, ooh, I love it. It's perfectly wonderful. Great find.
ReplyDeleteI saw those pincushions were they weren't on sale! Cute, cute, cute! I love what you've done with yours.
ReplyDeleteMy weekend will be busy. I am in charge of music at a big ladies' dessert on Saturday. Between traveling there, setting up keyboard and sound equipment, enjoying time with ladies, listening to the speaker, taking equipment down and coming home it will take about four hours in the middle of the day. Sunday will be busy as usual. I'm playing for two services at church and having dinner here with my dear little mother. It sounds more daunting than it is - there will be times to rest a bit in between and Sunday afternoon will be a good time to relax with family.

I plan on laying in bed all day Sunday and reading. Then we'll get up and head out for dinner around four pm.
ReplyDeleteA nice lazy day for me!

ReplyDeleteHi Kathy!
ReplyDeleteReceived my wonderful "Maggie" bird from you today! I LOVE it! It will be featured on my blog soon..it is part of my on going ~redecorating, painting and fluffing~ that I am doing.
This weekend I will be working on painting a hutch and some commission mosaic work. We are going to new friends (we met them on our trip to Italy) to teach them how to play pinochle on Saturday...

That's a great idea for the pincushion! I have a pincushion that looks like an old hat Mamie Eisenhower would have worn - maybe I'll display some bling on it!
ReplyDeleteSo cute! Just stopping by to wish you a very Happy Mother's Day!
