Is there a more pleasant task than weeding the lavender? Each touch releases the lemony lavender scent until it surrounds you in fragrance. What a beautiful way to spend a Sunday afternoon:)

Well I'd like to find out! Cannot seem to keep a patch going! I doooo love lavender and hope one day to stand in one of those fields and watch as the sun goes down and sniff it all up!

I love your site, but am thinking perhaps the lavender that grows in my backyard (near Phoenix) is not as fragrant, because weeding remains a task I always leave for last.
Oh seeing this, I must plant some lavender! How lovely!
p.s. thanks for the visit on my blog - yes, I have tried vinegar on the bottles and even went out and bought Polident today - nothing seems to rid them of their foginess. Oh well! They are still charming! lol
Kathy, I have some lavender too and never know quite what to do with it in the early spring. Do you cut yours back or just let the old branches reflower? Beautiful post. Can't wait to get outside and start digging around here in my Michigan garden. Hugs, Sue
I just started some lavender last year and was pleasantly surprised to see it made it through the winter. I am looking forward to seeing it mature. I just found an orange pair of gloves....so cool!
