Seems appropriate for today...

I don't know if you have seen this, but it is a great reminder of what the season is really about:>) I love the message and the music!

  1. Hi Kathy -
That is a great video. Lots of food for thought. Challenging. Life changing. Thank you.

  2. Hi Kathy
I loved the video because I don't like Christmas just because of the stress of the gift giving and we don't even buy that much! I like to decorate the house, but if I had my way I'd just not buy presents at all. Sometimes I feel like a Scrooge. So I put off buying presents until the last possible moment.

  3. Hi Kathy,

I hadn't seen this before, wow! I've got goosebumps. Thanks for a nice grounding before the season starts to tug.

  4. I saw this last night and then LOST it! I thought about it all day! Thanks for showing it! I feel JUST like what Rhondi said....I begin to resent the whole season because of what we HAVE to do to please others...I'd be just as happy sitting in my decorated house enjoying the season with no gifts.......my family also things "mom is all weird"

  6. This is what we SHOULD do...our family has talked about this very thing...giving to those that are in need. My gosh, we all have everything we want and need and so many are going HUNGRY!
I totally agree with every thing this video stands for.
Thanks so much for sharing this, Kathy....

  8. Hi Kathy,
Love this....our Pastor is asking us to give 1/4 of our Christmas budget to a fund to help with things such as these and I think it is a wonderful idea. I am not stressing this year, I am just going to enjoy and if all the cookies don't get baked....they don't get baked.

    Hugs,
    LeAnn:)

  10. This is a wonderful idea!

We have already been going down the path to simplified gift giving. We want to Keep Christ the center of Christmas!

  11. Kathy,
I like the message here...very powerful. I dont like the commercialism of Christmas and really try to avoid it. I am into handmade, homemade and from the heart. That is what means the most to me...
Hope you are having a great weekend with your daughters and Earl!
