For Becky

I've been lying around the house for the past three days battling the flu. Imagine my shock when I went to catch up on some blogs and found that dear Becky of Sweet Cottage Dreams has lost her son Jordan! My heart and prayers go out to you and your family Becky. Losing a child is the worst thing that any of us can imagine. Please take a moment to leave Becky a message of encouragement on her blog and to say a prayer for her family as they travel this sad road.

  2. Good morning, Kathy -
I was shocked to learn last evening about Becky's loss. I have shared her need for prayer and loving support on my blog today, too.

Take care of yourself, dear friend. I'm trying to get over something. Can't decide if it's a cold that wants to hang on or the flu. My grandson had a cold and my sweetheart had the flu - could be I have a combination of the two! Thanks to whomever shared with me!

  5. Hi Kathy,
Sorry you haven't been feeling well. I am grieving for Becky too. I just have been devastated for her. I can't imagine the pain but I know that she will find her comfort in the LORD. I also have encouraged people to leave a comment. Someday when she feels like reading them hopefully it will bring some comfort.

    Hugs,
    LeAnn:)

  8. So heartbreaking. I did leave a note there.

And may I ask that you leave a short note or just a hug here, as well. Sadness may be helped a tiny bit, knowing that people care.

  15. Kathy, I hope you are feeling better. I was in bed with a migraine this AM so I am just kicking back for the rest of the day.

I left a comment for sweet Becky. I was sick inside when I read about her son's death. She is such a happy, fun person. Even though I am a Christian...I have a vary hard time with "Why" do these things happen to such nice people? I know God never promised us a rose garden....but I still have questions.

    Take care. Love, Debbi

  35. I woke up this morning wondering if you were feeling better. Sure hope so...everyone in my family has been sick, including Bill..so far, knocking on wood, I am feeling good. I am staying with 4 grands this week and weekend, so I HAVE to stay well.
Yes, ma'am, I have used warm water, fabric softener, wallpaper remover stuff...even used a few cuss words but all to no avail. The paper itself comes right off but that glue...it is wicked!! Just going to take a lot of elbow grease...:O(
