Working on gardens and lawn and repainting the front porch this weekend. I haven't decided what we will do for fun. What are you doing this long weekend?

If that's YOUR red front door,I am envious! It is beautiful...the basket of arrangement is pretty, too.
We have been doing the exact same thing...painting porch posts, benches, swings...working in the yard and little tiny flower garden..i'll show it all to you on the June 1st Porch Party at Rhondi's.
We are having all our family over for a cookout on Memorial Day Monday...even little Cate will be here. She lives right here in town...
Have a happy and safe holiday...
hugs to an old friend!!

Well it depends on whether or not it rains~AGAIN! When will we get dryer weather - I'm so used to being in a drought that all this rain is weird.

If it's nice, hopefully the house painters will show up and finish up and I'll weed my gardens. If it's not I have some indoor projects to do.

Yesterday was the last day of school and my daughter is wiped and my husband has had rough two weeks at work. So we plan on seeing Wolverene and then just hanging out at home.

Have a great weekend!

Happy Memorial Day Weekend. Lots of plans for each of us all weekend long. Hope to eat lots of BBQ and lounge around the yard under blue skies, I hope.

I just came across your blog today and I think it's wonderful. I enjoyed so many of your posts. I knew I had to follow your blog after reading about the plastic bag holder and "gazing" at it before you went to bed. That is so funny, I catch myself doing it with my things too.

I love the basket on your pretty red door. It makes your home look so inviting!

My daughter graduates from high school tomorrow so that will be a day of celebration. But we also have a lot of yard clean~up and flower planting, so we will be busy~in a good sort of way! :-)

I wish you and your family a wonderful holiday weekend, Kathleen!!

What am I doing for fun this weekend? Why, coming to your house, of course. It's always fun when we get together.

I'm making "snickers bread" in hopes Rick can still have quick breads. ;-)

Hi Kathy
I love the red door too. I've been thinking about painting our front door but can't figure out what color. Our kids are coming over Monday and we'll cook some burgers on the grill. Hope you have a great weekend.
Hugs, Rhondi

Your door decor is lovely!

Yesterday my granddaughter and I went to the Old 2 Gold sale at Notre Dame University. They sell EVERYTHING that the students leave behind and the money goes to local chaities. It is a lot of fun and we get unbelievable bargains.

Today we are having a large cookout/family gathering. It will last into the late evening. Fun times!

Tomorrow we will rest! YAY!

Hope you had a nice Memorial Day. I painted my front porch railings and a couple of window frames. It felt good to get something done on my day off from work. Did you get to paint any? I love to paint. I call it my therapy time! lol
