Sunday

Sundays pretty much belong to this girl. My eldest. My sweetheart. My clone. They call her Kathy Jr. :>) Her real name is Lauren. She works afternoons and evenings, I work morning and early afternoon, so the rest of the week it's hard to get together.
 Today, we spent some quality time in the kitchen. It must be quality time when you bake cookies right? What higher goal than a batch of sweet sugar cookies wih pink frosting and sprinkles?
yup, Sundays are hers.

    Oh...this is so sweet, Kathy. When my girls walk in the door, I practically squeal! Lauren is beautiful and those cookies are so pretty! I'm so glad you had some time together.

    What a beautiful daughter you have. I KNOW how special mom/daug. time is..just about the most precious thing on earth.
    And, YUMMMM-MEE on those beautiful cookies.
    I am staying with 3 grands this weekend and plan to make cookies together. Ours won't be this pretty..we have to put a 9 yr old and a 13 yr old and an OLDEN woman's spin on ours. :)))

    I was the youngest of 4 girls, but I have to say I have a great relationship with my son. My mom always wished she had sons!
