More Fun with Fancy Flours

I just can't seem to get enough of Fancy Flours fun cookie molds.  The company liked what I did with the daisy molds so much that they sent me some more fun things to try.  These are actually turkey molds. Now, these would be adorable for Thanksgiving, but what can you do with these beauties for Spring?
 Well Peacocks of course!
Pretty peacocks for spring parties, brilliant birds for a brightly colored celebration.
Victoria was home for Easter and she had a ball with different color combinations and designs in these cookies. Aren't they beautiful!?
Just melt the colored candy coating, pipe it into the molds in the design you want, add an oreo in the middle and chill! No baking required:>)
Stay tuned, because Fancy Flours sent me a little care package full of springtime fun that I will be giving away.  You'll love the pretty things included and I can't wait to show you....
But first, I have a little more baking to do;>)

  1. Hi Kathy,
Oh my goodness, these are just to beautiful to eat! WoW! they are amazing. I love them.
What fun to make, but I wouldn't know where to begin. I am such a basic baker, I like it easy.
    Have a sweet day! Elizabeth

  2. Just adorable, sugar!!! I'd try some but that would mean I'd have to cook and everyone knows I only cook when I have to...if hubs won't take me out to eat, I mean... ;-)

  3. AWESOME!! to say the least! Who would have ever thought to turn turkeys into peacocks beside you? They look complicated and very time consuming. My daughter-in-law would love these ~ she's an avid cookie and cake decorator.

  4. Clever!!! They look fantastic!

  5. Well, aren't you smart! I'm not much of a cook, but I'd never have thought of that anyway. They are truly beautiful!

  6. These are so cute!! They look bakery fresh! And maybe those are quails! ;-D

  7. How creative are you??? ♥ These are awesome!!! I love the colors and they are too pretty to eat! xoxo Debbie

  8. What a perk! This has turned out to be quite a fun adventure for you!
I love that they sent you some things :)
These cookies are so pretty. I would have never thought to make the turkey into anything else but it works!

  9. I love these! The colors are perfect for spring....

  10. Cute as can be. Love them. Have a blessed day. Madeline

  11. Hi Kathy,
Oh, how very clever you are, my sweet friend! From Turkeys to Peacocks...Delightful and, they look delicious, too! What fun these would be for a Tea Party!
    Thanks for sharing!
Carolynn...my new blog is Chenille Cottage@blogspot.com

  12. I'm telling you, Kathy Grace...you are SUCH an artist....in every single thing you do.
These are past beautiful...they are magnificent.
    I agree with GRAMMYCAROLYNN...perfect for a little tea/coffee party...:))

  13. Oh my, I can't wait to see! These are beautiful!

  14. The daisy cookies were on our Easter table...thanks for the inspiration!!!!

  15. Kathy,

You and Earl and your daughters just blow me away with your talent in the kitchen. Oh sure I can make these...Not. You are so amazing. They just spell happiness and way more talent than I have in the kitchen. Never see any food on my blog, I can dream though.

  16. Kathy--I am new to your site, and just love it. I just got my daisy mold in the mail yesterday. I cannot wait to use it. Thank you for sharing the beauty of simple things! Joy

  17. Ok--it's me again. I see that my name did not show up in blue like every one else. I do not have a blog or anything...so is there something else I need to do? I guess why I really want to know, is that if you are going to give something away (fancyflours!) I don't want to be left out!

  18. OH my! Those are just beautiful and yes peacocks! You're a genius!

  19. How fun is this? I have a question for you since a just purchased a candy mold to make cameos for cupcakes. Do I spray the molds first with non-stick spray? I'm wondering how to get the candy out of he molds? Your peacocks are so pretty!

  20. I agree with Renee...how fun is this? To have one of these adorable cookie molds...or two...would definitely be a good reason to have a tea party! Love it!

Thank you for taking the time to say hello :)
