More Fun with Fancy Flours

I just can't seem to get enough of Fancy Flours fun cookie molds.  The company liked what I did with the daisy molds so much that they sent me some more fun things to try.  These are actually turkey molds. Now, these would be adorable for Thanksgiving, but what can you do with these beauties for Spring?
 Well Peacocks of course!
Pretty peacocks for spring parties, brilliant birds for a brightly colored celebration.
Victoria was home for Easter and she had a ball with different color combinations and designs in these cookies. Aren't they beautiful!?
Just melt the colored candy coating, pipe it into the molds in the design you want, add an oreo in the middle and chill! No baking required:>)
Stay tuned, because Fancy Flours sent me a little care package full of springtime fun that I will be giving away.  You'll love the pretty things included and I can't wait to show you....
But first, I have a little more baking to do;>)

  1. Hi Kathy,
Oh my goodness, these are just to beautiful to eat! WoW! they are amazing. I love them.
What fun to make, but I wouldn't know where to begin. I am such a basic baker, I like it easy.
    Have a sweet day! Elizabeth

  2. Just adorable, sugar!!! I'd try some but that would mean I'd have to cook and everyone knows I only cook when I have to...if hubs won't take me out to eat, I mean... ;-)

  3. AWESOME!! to say the least! Who would have ever thought to turn turkeys into peacocks beside you? They look complicated and very time consuming. My daughter-in-law would love these ~ she's an avid cookie and cake decorator.

  15. Kathy,

You and Earl and your daughters just blow me away with your talent in the kitchen. Oh sure I can make these...Not. You are so amazing. They just spell happiness and way more talent than I have in the kitchen. Never see any food on my blog, I can dream though.

  17. Ok--it's me again. I see that my name did not show up in blue like every one else. I do not have a blog or anything...so is there something else I need to do? I guess why I really want to know, is that if you are going to give something away (fancyflours!) I don't want to be left out!

  19. How fun is this? I have a question for you since a just purchased a candy mold to make cameos for cupcakes. Do I spray the molds first with non-stick spray? I'm wondering how to get the candy out of he molds? Your peacocks are so pretty!
