I am sorry that my posts have lacked any deep and meaningful thoughts in the past few days. I do still have them once in a while, but I have been pretty consumed with the project I have come up with. It isn't anything earth shattering, but I had thought my creative mojo was gone. Vanished from disuse, dried up and blown away. Bummer. I guess it just took a little time to rev up again after years of mommy neglect. Anyway, what you see above is the mess on my dining room (studio) table. Yes, we will be eating at the table outside for a while. Lets hope it doesnt rain:>). I am having fun, instead of cleaning my house or finishing the paint job I absolutely need to get done in the living room! It's always a choice between the creative and the day to day chores. Guess the chores lose out for a while. Stay tuned though, all will be revealed soon.
Your mess looks so pretty! Can't wait to see what it's going to be!

ReplyDeleteYou are like the 3rd person today who told me they had something really exciting in store...for LATER and I'm about to pop to know what all the surprises are! Is it a conspiracy? Okay. Well I worked on something I'm excited about on my kitchen table today (when I should have been cleaning the floor under it...)And I'm gonna share mine one day next week!
ReplyDeleteHi, Kathy, thanks for stopping by to see me, so now I can visit your blog. Ooooh, looks like you are up to a lot of fun creative things. I will have to come back & read some of your old posts..looks like we both have a love of thrifting & I'm always excited to meet others who love that too.

Wow!
ReplyDeleteWas all that stuff in the bags we found on Thursday? You really did snag a great treasure trove. I know what you are making and even I am excited to see the end result!!! You are always creative even when you think no juices are flowing. Anyone who has been to your house can tell an artist lives there. Cute things in every corner. Jan
When your muse visits, you just have to welcome here and enjoy the company! (Your chores will still be there later, I'm afraid!)
