A busy day with the family. A birthday party for a precious one year old cousin, a special dinner with the kids and a movie while we snuggled by candle light on the sofa. Tomorrow youngest daughter goes back to school for 2 weeks. It has been great to have her home:>) I'll just leave you with a pretty dining room all decked out for the most wonderful season of all. Have a good night. Photo courtesy of BHG.com

  1. It sounds like you had a wonderful day! Before you know it your daughter will be home for Christmas. I love the simplicity of the dining room you are showing. I still think sometimes we tend to overdo and I always gravitate back to simple.

    Hugs,
    LeAnn:)

  7. Hi Kathy -
So glad you had a good Thanksgiving with family. I love this dining room and it has given me some ideas for my own. I just told my dear mother that I don't want to do the same thing over my table as in past years - I want it much more simple. This 'grabs' my imagination. And I have a corner hutch! But no blue and white plates which I love. So, I think I'd better go shopping and find some, don't you think?
