And this sweet red polka dot with ball fringe and a vintage white on white embroidered and crochet piece added for a little crispness....
And, of course, the sunny pillow from my tea post. More to come too!
I have been tagged with a meme and two awards! I promise I will get to them ladies, but right now the sewing machine beckons, more birds waiting to be hatched, more pillows to be fluffed:>) I'm on a roll, can't stop now, but I'll be back real soon . Hope you all have a great weekend!

Oh, oh, I love it all. You are too good.
ReplyDeleteHi Kathy -
ReplyDeleteYour pillows are just wonderful! I would love to own each one of them. Years ago I had a custom and specialty sewing business. I made a few pillows from vintage finds. When I closed my business I kept all of the lovelies I had gathered for future pillows and I hope to get back to them one of these days. You inspire me!

Ohmygosh, Kathy, those are quite unique and adorable, sweet cottage chickadee!!! AND it reminded me of something I saw today in an antique shop that I would like to duplicate - a vintage clothespin bag!! So glad I stopped over, sweetpea...

Kathy:
ReplyDeleteLove the crispness of the red and white pillow! Gorgeous, you are hard at work!
Kathy, I love these, what a great idea to use vintage material pieces in your pillow design. You have such a great sense of design. The pillows are gorgeous, I especially love the red one, but wouldn't that puppy one look great in someone's nursery. I can see it sitting in a rocking chair. Karen
ReplyDeleteDo you have a shop somewhere??? I love your work!
ReplyDeleteKathy,
ReplyDeleteThat is the cutest puppy pillow. I love those vintage Vogart puppy designs. You did such a wonderful job on all your pillows. I love it when people are able to salvage old linens by making them into something new.
