“Lord, help me to do great things as though they were little, since I do them with Your power; and little things as though they were great, since I do them in Your name.”
Good Monday morning...thanks for coming by to see me this morning. Yes, Bill did a fantastic job on converting the garage into a dining room. First and foremost, he had the floor raised to the level of the main part of the house, which MADE it a part of the house. Then, the opening of the pass-thru from the kitchen into the dining room also made it a part of the house. The large windows and no outside door in the front completely removed the looks of a garage. He did a really nice job on the whole project. Thinking about it....think I'll keep him around for another 48 years.....:o) love, bj
Such wonderful words to live by. Quotes like this always remind me to be mindful. I hope that you are enjoying your Monday. I have an office job interview tomorrow, say a little prayer for me okay. I am going back to work after so many years, but I look forward to the challenge. Blessings, Karen
To me, blue and white looks absolutely fabulous with yellow. This may be why you like the blue so much now. As much as I like blue, there are some shades of it that aren't pretty to me...well, guess that's true with most colors, now that I think about it....hmmmmm
What a sweet prayer! It makes me think of that other thing you've heard it...to the world you are just one person but to one person you may mean the world.
Hi Kathy! I hope things are going well for you :) I miss ya! I know it is hard getting back into the swing of things. I am having a terrible time this year!
Hi Kathy -
ReplyDeleteThank you for this reminder to keep things in perspective. I needed to hear this today. The flowers on the tray are gorgeous!
