Sweet & Sinister Part 2

This is what I made for Carrie for the Sweet & Sinister swap. I had a little pumpkin shaped basket that just cried out to be a scarecrow in a cage for her. He is holding a staff with a little goblin gourd on top.
I used lots of black and silvery glitter and added some old lace and stars and a little gilded pumpkin on top.
The really sweet part is the old jar filled with candy corn and dark chocolate dove promises. The glittered "C" is for Carrie. I hope you like your swap items Carrie:>)

  5. Everything looks great, especially the scarecrow cage. Although if he's supposed to be sinister, uhm, not so much. Cute. Gloomy perhaps. But not sinister.

  7. That is very cute! I always marvel at people's creativity. To be able to take a pumpkin shaped basket and come up with something that actually looks cute? Sheer creative genius! :-) I'd spend all day on something like that and have to burn it.

  11. I'm with Melissa...anything I would try to craft would not be "to give away" and I too would have to discard it. So it is great to see the ideas you come up with.
