Ok, enough venting. Life is too short to let something like that bug me and then I inflicted it on you. It's a mountain out of a molehill really, and I truely believe it was done without malice. All is forgiven. lets move on. Nothing major here to report so I've grabbed some favorite photos from my Flickr account to make this valentine mosaic. I hope you enjoy the bright colors and sentiments attached. A little shopping planned with my girl this morning, she needs a dress for a wedding she will attend, and then some project time. And by the way, I need a little sunshine, can anyone send some my way?
Pretty, pretty! We'll be seeing more of these......
ReplyDeleteYour mosaic is lovely!
ReplyDeleteHi, I just signed up to follow your blog, so beautiful. It is always fun to me finding new and wonderful blogs to follow.

Kathy,
ReplyDeleteThese are all lovely. My sister sews like you do, and I have been asking her to open an etsy shop. She sews lap quilts and beautiful pillows too. She just sent me a few heart pillows. They just make such a lovely statement about love. I went to get a cup of coffee yesterday, and they put a little sticker on the top of the coffee. It said "Life is better when you are in love" with a little heart. Isn't that the cutest thing. Well, that would make sunshine for sure.

Very pretty mosaic Kathy....I adore your hearts (the ones you make and the one you have inside you)

p.s. sorry, no sun here, just more rain on top of the freezing rain, on top of the snow...
You are all respect, honesty and integrity. Have I told you before how much I love you?
ReplyDeleteI love, love, love your hearts - you have such a special touch with each one. Wish I could afford to buy them all! Thanks for sharing them with us today. Makes my heart sing. ~Adrienne~
ReplyDeleteSo pretty! I have one of the little hearts that you made hanging in my pretty laundry room. It makes me smile. :)

Oh these are ones from the past that you've sold, right? I went shopping and said "she sold those FAST!" :)
ReplyDeleteThat red one up top with the eyelet is my favorite :) then the polka dot one and the black floral....
I still have an aqua one I got from you and I put it in different places in the house...very fun :)
Hi Kathy
ReplyDeleteI just love the hearts you make. They are so creative when they are all together in a mosaic they are even more beautiful. Hope you have a good weekend.
By the way I like the quote by Oliver Wendell Holmes on your sidebar.
Hugs, Rhondi
I love the mosaic, Kathy. All the hearts are just so cute!!
ReplyDeleteI wish we had some sun to send your way. It has been gray and gloomy since November!
Have a good weekend, my friend!
xoxo

I agree! Rain here so maybe our sunshine is on it's way there.
ReplyDeleteAre you teasing us with hearts that will be in your shop or ones we've missed out on? The red one with the key is so me! If I'm not careful I'm going to have a whole collection of hearts!
Each one of these is a charmer. I usually am not a big fan of all the Valentines day bright red... but these on the other hand give the holiday a whole new meaning to me....
ReplyDeleteKathy, all those hearts are gorgeous!! I LOVE the pink fabrics!!!
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Amy
Sorry Kathy...no sunshine here! I wish I had some to send your way. I want to thank you for your post about copyright...and your commenter, PJ, who mentioned the free copyright site she uses. It made me copyright some of my designs. Your post made me think about it...

Hey sweet girl :) You are a One of a Kind !! :) Just wanted to say, I have been there too, sorry you had to go through that. I have two that CONSTANTLY are duplicating my pretties, I wrote to them once with no response back. So, I just shrug it off. The Lord sees all and that is good enough for me :) Sorry things are still slow on the job front. I just KNOW things will better soon !! :) Love coming to say hi to you, you are such a sweetheart !! And your pictures are so filled with life :) Anyhoo, didn't mean to write a book, just to send you a Virtual Hug of sorts and hopefully spread some cheer :) HUGS :):):) xoxo :)
ReplyDeleteJust a note, most of these are the hearts of Valentines past, but I'm still working on more, so keep checking the shop:>)
ReplyDeleteHi, My name is Sandy, first time posting. Love, love your hearts. So pretty, so Spring! Have a nice weekend.
ReplyDeleteI love the heart photo collage. Happy Pink Saturday.
ReplyDeleteI have to ask if you still make those fabric strawberries anymore? I saw them on someone's blog and was just snowed by their cuteness!
ReplyDeleteBrenda
oh my gosh just gorgeous images! And to think you made each one with those beautiful hands!
ReplyDeleteI do think this image is frame worthy!
Hi Kathy.
ReplyDeleteI wish I could put some sunshine in a jar and mail it to you. We are low on warmth and sun around here though.
Your hearts are super pretty. I am looking around my home for the *perfect* place to hang the one I ordered. :o) One day I hope to purchase an angel too!
Happy Saturday evening to you.
Sincerely ~ Trish
Wow, this photo collection is gorgeous. Those hearts you create are so beautiful!! TRULY. I'm going to get me one someday. ;) You're such a good, kind heart and I understand how it feels to have little things hurt and bother us. I hope all is resolved now.

Hi Kathy...I just love your hearts...the one that is 3rd. over on the top row is simply beautiful....the check, the lace and the buttons...it's wonderful...Don't you hate all the spam comments that are going around...we talked about it on Friday at the tea and everyone is getting it....lot's from china...I gotten a couple that were real doozies....and then ofcourse the nasty comment that was left by someone I know when I went with daughter to see Ragtime...I just left a counter-comment telling the person too chicken to put their name down to just lighten up....My posts are done in fun...that's it...just fun.
ReplyDeleteSo many pretty hearts - they make a beautiful mosaic. laurie
ReplyDeleteKathy, the mosaic of all your beautiful hearts is so lovely. The photo would look so pretty on note cards!
ReplyDeleteWe had some sunshine today. I wish I could send you some. This winter has even made Florida me wish for Spring.
XO,
Lallee
Normally i could help you out with some sunshine, Kathy, but the last couple of weeks have been almost as bad as MI. It was 54 when i came home tonite. Brrrrrrr! And how can you have a pirate invasion when there are small craft warnings on the bay? Gasparilla was quite subdued by most reports, but there were 300+ arrests. As soon as there is any sun i will send it to you. Thank you for the lovely comment on my Blog. As i said to Karen, i need a lot of help with the mechanics of it. I have all the material i need.. LAS
ReplyDeleteI so love the hearts. I made a few this year too. None as beautiful as yours. You know if I had a little sunshine I would share it with you. This has been a looooong gray winter here in Utah. Good thing Feb is a short month and then bulbs will be blooming in March! Mimi
ReplyDeleteLove to help you with the sunshine but it's rainy and cold here too! Love the hearts!
ReplyDeleteManuela
I "heart" your mosaic! AND...I spy my beautiful heart in the lower left corner! Oh how I love it so.....
ReplyDeleteLike you, because of porn spam and other hateful emails, I had to moderate my comments. I was getting comments in Chinese, too. Go figure! So I don't even open them...just delete. Kind of like tossing a bad apple....no pain.
xx
becky
BEAUTIFUL!!!
