This is about as exciting as my life is right now. I actually found a few seconds this morning to snap a picture of the morning sun glowing through the leaves of the box elder tree (one of the most heinous trees ever planted), outside our kitchen window. I do just love the morning sun.
The rest of my time is spent studying and I haven't had a chance to post, to visit, to respond. I do hope this education thing isn't going to interfere permanently with my blogging!
Fortunately, I had an eye appointment for new glasses this morning so I took the rest of the day off from work. That's right, I'm playing hookey, and I can tell you that because my boss doesn't read my blog. I'm pretty sure. I hope. Besides they dialated my eyes and I am still stumbling around squinting and trying to avoid light like some kind of vampire. I hate getting my eyes dialated, don't you? But the point is, I really couldn't work like that anyway so I feel vindicated. But back to blogging....I am making quick little forays into my google reader. I am visiting, and then I check where it says "mark as unread" so I can go back and comment. Except I now have eleventy hundred posts to go back and comment on and, well, I know I just can't, so forgive me. Eventually I will get this under control and come back and talk your ears off.
I think my eyes are undialating now and I have oodles of homework to do before class tonight. See you all soon:>)
Of course you can't do anything when your eyes are dilated. I was surprised my doctor allows patients to drive home themselves afterward. And of course you can't do homework.
ReplyDeleteI perfectly understand (and everyone else I am sure) that homework is more important than blogging. But I bet you miss the fun and relaxation. Do you have a smaller load in the summer with school?
I wish you well. Have a great day off! ;-)

Great photo. A day off after having your eyes dilated? required!! Get your homework done and I hope you have some fun also.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you're still blogging a little despite all the homework...and dialated eyes! lol

Oh I have very bad memories of driving home all the way..... by myself...... from downtown Atlanta after having my eyes dilated on a very very sunny day without sun glasses....I still don't know how I made it home without killing myself or others!!
ReplyDeleteEleventy hundred? You sound like my daughter, so cute. Not familiar with that tree but it does look rather messy. Beautiful light though. Don't worry about getting back to me. Just glad to hear how your doing.
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Dawn
Sounds like you've got a full plate at the moment! Don't worry about visiting/commenting -- we all understand about time restraints. Glad you got some time to enjoy the sunshine! :)

ReplyDeleteOf course you may snag that button. It sounds as if you could really use it with all that you've got going on. Thank you for your visit and come back any time! Gee, I feel right at home here, too.
The picture are truly wonderful.
ReplyDeleteMy first time to comment, forgive me, am I to assume that they are your handiwork?
Hi Kathy!
ReplyDeleteThank you for your kind words today. I wanted to send you an email but couldn't find your address. I live in Michigan too! Was wondering where you are and hoping we might be neighbors!
