Mosaic Monday Farmers Market

I went to the Farmers Market this Saturday. I love it! The Oakland County Farmers Market is one of the biggest and best in the area. So much color and so many beautiful flowers at a great price. I got a huge fuschia for my hummingbird for only $12. I decided my farmers market photos would make a great mosaic to go along with Mary's Mosaic Monday:>) Lots of color and beauty in one place and the post isn't so long. So enjoy! Do you have a farmers market near you? Do you go?

  1. Gorgeous! I have a Mosaic Monday post but it won't post til early Monday morning. Hope you are having a good weekend.

  2. What a great mosaic. Thanks for sharing your Farmers Market with us.

  3. Your mosaic is very pretty! Our farmer's market is small but we enjoy it too.

  4. Kathy, I love your Farmer's Market mosaic. The images capture the essence of all of the beautiful and color things offered by each vendor.

We live near our State Farmer's Market, and it is one of our favorite places to go shopping and browsing.

  5. A bright mosaic of colour! A market is one of my favourite places to wander at the weekend!

  9. My town just started a Farmer's Market! Yesterday was only it's second day and they have about 6 people participating right now. But it's very well attended so I'm sure given time it'll grow. Your mosaic is so pretty!

  16. Wow! Your pictures are great! I took a peek around your blog, too. Very nice!

  17. Goodness girl, you really have a way with that camera of yours!! What a lovely montage - such yummy goodies at the Farmer's Market. We have one nearby, but it doesn't have this caliber of flowers...just a few hanging baskets. The veggies are nice though. I love how these images all work together. Do you put these montages together yourself with a photo program or is this done in flickr? Just curious...

Hey, you might want to take a look at my no-sew makeover project for my kitchen window - the colors are right up your alley!

    Have a great week!

  26. A beautiful mosaic Kathy! I love farmers markets. We have one here in Hendersonville that is open Thurs - Saturday year round.

But my favorite place in the summer is a farmstand about 2 miles from my house. They have the best summer veggies from their own fields. It is not open yet, but I am looking forward to the day they do!

My internet service is back working!

  27. I buy my green beans from my farmers market every year to can since i can't have a garden.
I love the fresh produce ..
    Elsie <><

  28. We have a locial produce stand where we get fresh fruits and vegs. I go almost everyday for fresh vegs and fruits....hugs...m

  29. The mosaic is beautiful. I just went to a huge farmers' market recently. They are amazing. Not like the ones where I stood and ate peanuts out of a basket when I was little. :)

  30. I love your photos Kathy! A feast for the eyes this morning...

I hope you are having a great week!

  31. Such pretty photos Kathleen!! I do have some farmers markets and I love going there and getting my fresh goodies :), they are so beautiful to walk through too!

Just wanted to let you know, I didn't receive your address yet, so if you could email me at and forward it to me, I'll get your goodies right out!

Hope you enjoy a wonderful week! Hugs, Cynthia

  32. We don't have a good farmers market..just little ones here and there. Never pretty flowers, tho.
Hope things are good in your world..gotta run over and visit you in your shop.
    xo bj

  33. No farmers market near me and I dearly want one! There is a flea market that has some produce vendors, but it is crowded and kind of icky. I rarely go anymore. Your flower mosaic is wonderful.

  34. Love your 'Mosaic Monday', very colorful! We do have a Farmer's Market here in downtown Salt Lake City! With hubby's garden though, not sure I'll have to go buy anything!

  35. Hi!
I love your market, fellow Michigander!
I notice that you did include one vegetable!~ the radish and they are wonderful looking!

I love your hearts that you make!
I can answer your question you left me today! :) The little tag I s made with my computer and the logo image with blog etc. added THEN use
"Colorfast: Sew-in INKJET FABRIC SHEETS". I bought mine at Michaels, which you also have. I found mine in the section with instruction books, on display... mine are over by the yarn aisles.
You have to sew them in or use fusion material. They also have the iron on style but I like this type better.
    I hope that helped.

  36. Fabulous post, everything looks so great.

Thank you for taking the time to say hello :)
