Got it! The compact flash came in the mail and I have been noodling around with it just a little. The cold white days of January may be a time for new beginnings but it seems to also be a time when I just can't seem to motivate myself to do anything. The weather has been slightly warmer but grey, and grey just saps my energy.  And it's Tuesday already! How did that happen?   I am trying to get sewing done but once the sun dips below the horizon I just can't do anything but count the hours until bedtime. Now you know why winter is not my favorite time of year. But each day is a nanosecond longer and eventually I know I will see the sun again. Right now I'm getting ready to leave for work. I just wanted you to know I'm alive. Sleepy, but alive:>)

  1. Glad you got your missing piece! I know what you mean about grey skies. When I lived in upstate NY for 10 years I was miserable all winter long. It wasn't the cold or snow...but the greyness. I need sunshine! Hope you have some sunny days soon.

  6. Glad you got your piece, Kathy. Now let's see some of the goodies you have been making! ;-)

I actually like gray days for the most part because I really like to snuggle in with the lamps down low and read or write or cook...just rainy day things. But today was sunny and it was a treat. I opened all the windows wide and just let all that mild (35 degree) air blow through, freshening everything up. But we have snow predicted for Thursday so it won't last...

I keep my eyes open by having a good strong cup of coffee at 4:00. Not enough to keep me awake, just to get me a few hours of reading in bed after dinner.

  7. Yay that you got your CF! One of the reasons I love living in the South is that winter is so short! When I lived in NYC and NJ I never felt like doing anything or going anywhere during winter. It was dark at 4pm!

So different here in ATL plus it was so sunny and warm today I went out and pulled some weeds! Wish you could come for a visit!
