I didn't get much done this weekend. I wanted to do some sewing but the laundry, housework, shopping and errands won out. It's Sunday night and after finding a bag of mini Reeses pieces on sale at Kroger (half off!) I decided to make some cookies, light some candles and watch a video with my sweetheart. The house is clean(ish) and we are ready for another week. I got through part of my Google reader and was able to visit a handful of you. If I take a little time here and there I may actually catch up.
And I do want to catch up! All the lovely projects, redecorating, words of wisdom and inspiration, it's why I love you all in the first place! So I'll grab a minute here and there and I'll be around. Be patient and know that even if I don't have time to leave a note today, I'm looking in.
Seventy four days to go until I'm done with my second job. But it will get me through the last of the winter with plenty to do. I always breathe a sigh of relief that January is over, and February hardly counts with only 28 days right? March brings the hope of Spring. I can live with that! So to all my friends out there, have a great week. I'll try to drop in from time to time and I am determined to post a couple times a week. Don't forget to stop in and sign up for my give-away. It doesn't end until Feb. 11 so there is still plenty of time!

  4. It's hard to keep up with blogs even when you're not working outside the home, so I can only imagine! February will be over before we know it. Hope you enjoyed your movie and the cookies.

  9. I hope you have a beautiful week...as I've said before, you have your priorities in order (cookies, candles, movies, loved one...); housework will wait where other things won't. And my philosophy on blogging is, I'm happy if someone has a moment to read...life is busy and we make and take our "moments" when we can! ♥

  22. I understand the pressure one feels at times to get to comment on everyone who visited..we are all in the same boat..little by little we'll get to each others blogs. I always feel the *quanity of time* I allow myself to visit each blog is important to me..this way I can savor and catch up on the previous posts ..I usually do it that way.I always time myself so I am NOT sitting at the PC for hours and as you know this happens so easily.
    Smiles to you! :)

  26. This movie seems to be popular, cause I've seen on other blogs as a must see. I visited your Etsy shop and saw those adorable birds on cushions. Will you be making hose for spring or at another time? Also your toille apron was sold out. Is there any others plans for the future? I like your aprons with the large ruffles!

    Sweet Wishes,
    Sara

  27. Kathy, I got the apron in the mail and it is absolutely adorable! You had it packaged so sweetly that I hated unwrapping it. Your tags and the little hard are wonderful also. Thank you so much for such a wondrful product. I'm going to brag about you on my blog. :)

  28. What a perfectly romantic evening! I'm missing DH ...he's in Minnesota for business and visiting family.

I also want to congratulate you on your apron in 'apron-ology'. I will have to run out to my local B&N and pick up a copy. I think I'll go tonight. What a delightful way to spend a quiet evening at home ...'apron-ology and a hot cup of tea!' Oh, I'm so there!

  33. Hi Kathy
Did you like the movie? We watched it on the weekend and thought it was great. It is so refreshing for a change to see a movie where people turn to God for help. I sure wish ther were more out there like that.
