Yes, I am still here. I have been signing up for classes that begin next month, trying to concentrate on sewing one last major listing for etsy before I go to school, because with working part time and attending school full time something has to go and I am afraid it will be the sewing. Ah well, different stages in life require different things. I am excited about the direction I am going and I will do my best to not let blogging go by the wayside! That is one thing I can't give up.
While I have been taking my break I have been catching up with some of my favorite blogs that I haven't had a chance to read. One of those is Posy.  She is a cute blogger in England who has the cutest cottage and the sweetest photos.
Like this
and this...
and this one too.
Such pretty things to see. I found this youtube video and song on her site and fell in love with the music.

You should stop by and take a look at her blog, it is pure eye candy:>)

I can't leave you without a teeny peek at what I have been working on.
I hope to have enough done soon to stock the shop :>)
Back to the grindstone, I'll see you all soon!

  1. Wow, you've added a lot since I saw it Tuesday. I love it!

I love the teapot cozy, too. This one's even prettier than the one you linked us to yesterday. I haven't started the heavy hinting yet, but I'm quite sure Julianne needs to make me one of those, don't you think? For now, she's been making daffodils for you, though. I'll be patient-this time of year I don't need a tea cozy so much, right?

  2. Hi Kathy
I am so excited for you that you are going back to school. It's too bad that your sewing will have to take a back seat but it will only be a for a season. Whatever it is that you are making there it looks fabulous. You are so creative.
I love that crocheted tea cosy too. So cute!

  16. Hi Kathy
I just popped over for the first time on a link to your chicken soup recipe. YUM! After reading a few posts I decided to become a regular follower. Your sewing projects are GORGEOUS - especially the new work in progress. LOVE the pink hollyhocks with the green and black. Good luck going back to school and persuing your dreams. As an almost 50ish paraprofessional formerly from Michigan who still doesn't know what she wants to be when she grows up I am inspired by your example and wish you all the best!! Chris M

  19. Kathy, I just had such a sweet time catching up on your posts. I'll be thinking of you as your school and work schedule begin.

I'm looking forward to seeing your 'new' dining room. I love the paint color on your chair.

I love to read Posy's blog. Hers and yours were two of my first discoveries, along with Kim's. All three are still top favorites.

Thank you for the chicken soup recipe. I want some now!

Hooray, March has come at last! Even Floridians were sick of winter this year.

thank you for the links, I haven't visited Posy for a while. You know with studying graphic design, you could probably show and tell on your blog. Or use us as your experiment for your homework. I can't wait to learn about what you are studying. You will be a natural.
