Happy April!

You'll excuse me if I'm a little late in posting for the new month won't you?  I caught a very nasty virus and have been laid low since last weekend.  I am just now starting to feel a little better, though I have been contemplating a nap for most of the afternoon. As a rule I do not nap.

At any rate, here we are smack dab at the end of the first full week of April. It is a balmy 56 outside according to the thermometer, and I may see if I have the gumption for a very short walk outside in hopes that the fresh air may do me some good..  These tulips are left over from Easter and their cheery brightness have kept me smiling.  I am afraid I am far behind on my visits, but I hope to catch up with all of you soon.
Do tell, what have you been doing this week?

  1. So sorry you were under the weather, Kathy. I hope it didn't totally spoil Easter for you. Thankfully the weather is the same here, but don't push yourself. And naps are good...your body is telling you it needs rest!

    Take care.

    XO,
    Jane

  2. Sorry you've been ill :(

I hope you were able to have a nice Easter anyway. Something must be going around - I've been sick all week too and I never get sick!

The tulips are lovely and isn't it nice to have some warmer temps!

  3. Ooo...sorry.
Hope that warm day did you some good! It was horribly cold/wet and dark here today. I cleaned on my flea mkt. booth hoping to boost sales!
I got yellow tulips for our table and need to go ahead and put them in the ground, I guess b/c the petals are spent.

  6. Sorry you've been sick ~ no fun at all. The tulips are so pretty. I've been busy getting ready for Farmer's Market starting in June. Trying new things and recipes. Made some laundry soap and I think I love it. Doing lots of odds and ends and having fun with my granddaughter.

  9. Glad to hear you're on the mend! Clarence & I were wondering, but I'm terrible about picking up the phone/emailing.

    Love you!

(BTW-Clarence is having his surgery on Tuesday. Sorry to tack it on here, but you know how I'm so bad about calling...)

  10. So sorry to hear you've not been feeling well. Hope you are getting better every day! What have I been up to this week? Well, I'm doing everything with a walking boot cast on my left foot! Nothing broken - just severe tendonitis. I will share more on my blog today. Your tulips are gorgeous! So cheery!

  11. I'm glad you are feeling better. I had a cold that lingered on and on - but it's over now.
Your tulips are so bright and lovely, cheering up everyone who looks at them.

    Have a wonderful week.
