Dried Cranberry and White Chocolate Biscotti

This week is the cookie exchange at Pleasant Home. I love this blog, not just for Jodi's gorgeous sewing, but because it's a beautiful, cheerful place to be, full of color and whimsey! Cindy at Rick Rack and Gingham also has a linky for cookies and candies and a lovely blog that you will enjoy.

One of my favorite Christmas cookies is biscotti.
It's super easy to make, and I think because it is twice baked, it travels well and is less likely to get stale. Not that I would know, it never lasts more than a day or two here in the cottage! It's a really great treat with my morning coffee or tea too. There
are a zillion flavors you can make, but this recipe is one of my favorites.
This recipe is actually called Dried Cranberry and White Chocolate biscotti. I was out of white chocolate, but they are just as good with dark chocolate, maybe better:>)
Rather than type out the recipe I'll give you the link. Epicurious.com has the formatting already in place for you to simply print the recipe and start baking, so go HERE and get it. How easy is that!?

  11. I'm sure that little baggie is for your baby sis, right?

All right, I guess I can make my own. Sigh.

We should do a biscotti bar for Christmas. We have a couple favorite recipes here and we could try yours and maybe shame Penny into making some? ;-)

  12. I have made biscotti only once and we did like it. I printed this recipe out and will try it too. Like the others have said your packaging is pretty. I love the tag. I'm always looking at tags because they make the food gift so enticing.

  14. They look delicious, and I am with you on the dark chocolate. I am all baked out from our party last weekend.
Over 45 loaves of bread for take homes, and dozens and dozens of cookies. But I am sure in a week or so I will be moved to make something.
Hope all your preparations are going well!

I love your blog, it looks so cozy, and I just read your last few posts. I love biscotti, but have never made it myself. I will have to peek at the recipe for sure.

Sounds like you are enjoying your holidays already. Happy Birthday to Earl. My birthday is tomorrow. Kathy, I turn 62...yikes! Well, I am lost in a sea of my long long To Do List, but really wanting to sip coffee and have some of your biscotti.
